If Felina delivers anything close to the fresh, innovative dishes posted on their Instagram, reservations are going to be tough to come by at this new local, farm-focused, Italian restaurant. Felina is slated to open in the spring in the old Fish Restaurant space. We have been hearing rumors of some outdoor seating (maybe even a roof deck bar!). Stay tuned because this restaurant with a FULL bar is sure to turn the dining scene in Ridgewood upside down!
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. In fact, replicate it. That must be the motto for the owners of this better quality burger chain. After success in Edgewater and Closter (and Montclair!), BareBurger is opening very soon in Ridgewood. What sets this chain apart is that they boast not only delicious, fast-casual food, but organic and locally-sourced! I, for one, am looking forward to not feeling guilty about grabbing a protein-packed burger after my 12:30 CoreFireclass. (Insider tip from nutrition expert Coach Liz: get your beef, turkey, or even bison burger wrapped in collard greens for a lower-carb swap for the usual bun.)
Jack’s Lobster Shack
We know – and love! – Jack’s Lobster Shack in Montclair, and much to our delight they are expanding to Ridgewood! They are planning a late spring opening and we can’t wait to dive into their signature lobster rolls after planking it out. We have our own opinions but we’ll be looking forward to yours on which is the best – Maine or Connecticut-style?
Ice Cream by Mike
Always save room for dessert! Get ready for Ice Cream by Mike in Ridgewood. He closed his uber-popular shop in Hackensack to open right next to Jersey Mikes (and just down Maple Avenue from our Ridgewood location). Boasting a rotating menu of 14 flavors, crafted from the best possible ingredients. We are ready to put in some extra plank to pikes for this splurge.
