END OF SUMMER FUN 2018

Contrary to popular belief, summer is NOT over. In fact, we have a full month to enjoy the dog days. That being said, here are some suggestions for things to do and see to make the most of these warm weather days.

The Rose Mansion in NYC

Do you define your summer by the number of rosé happy hours you have enjoyed? Then have we got the spot for you. Open through October, this wine-themed, interactive pop-up features 14 boozy rooms full of Insta-worthy opportunities, educational experiences and plenty samples of rosé. You might want to buy your tickets in advance as this is one of the hottest spots in the area this summer.

Ridgewood Restaurant Week

Ridgewood boasts some amazing restaurants. Mark your calendars for Sunday August 12th through Thursday August 16th and the 19th-23rd for the Village’s Chamber of Commerce bi-annual Restaurant Week. Check the Chamber’s website for which restaurants are participating with prix-fixe menus for $30. You’ll see us there!

 Montclair Jazz Festival

On August 11th from Noon – 9pm, you will be hearing the sweet sounds of Jazz coming from Nishuane Park in Montclair. This free festival features some world renowned jazz musicians on the center stage as well as an all-day line-up for the kiddos in the Family Jazz Discovery Zone. As if that isn’t enough to get us there, the festival will feature a beer garden, yummy treats as well as a parking shuttle and bike valet.

Kenny Chesney

Summer is the time to see some of the best artists of our time. We may have missed T-Swift and Queen Bey but we are not going to miss one of Country’s best, Kenny Chesney. In town for just ONE night, August 18th, you still have time to score tickets for his Trip Around the Suntour at MetLife stadium.

Sex & The City Bus Tour

Call us nostalgic, but given this year marked the 20thanniversary of our beloved Sex & The City, we are dying to take the official bus tour around Manhattan. This 3-hour tour, for adults only, features cocktail stops at some of the girls’ favorite watering holes. The tour runs daily and starts at $44 a person. If you are lucky you might just run into SJP at Magnolia Bakery!
