COREFIRE is one of the few places in New Jersey where you will find the Lagree Fitness method on the state of the art Megaformer.
At Corefire, you will find small group fitness classes that feel like private sessions. All of our classes are performed on a Megaformer-a unique update to the Pilates reformer machine that will deliver a high intensity, low impact, strength training workout in a quick 45 minutes. Our programming and equipment combined have been intentionally designed to lengthen, tone and challenge your body and your mind.

What makes Corefire different?
At Corefire, we use the Lagree Fitness method. Lagree is a low-impact, high-intensity workout method that uses slow, controlled movements on a machine called the "Megaformer" to target and burn muscles, focusing on time under tension and slow-twitch muscle fibers. The Megaformer is a machine with two platforms and a spring-loaded carriage between them that allows for a variety of pushing and pulling exercises.
What is the difference between Lagree vs. Pilates?
While both focus on controlled movements, Lagree emphasizes intense, isometric movements to improve core strength and cardiovascular endurance, whereas traditional Pilates focuses on breathing, concentration, and flow.
